Investment in Latin America

4_map.gif

Being the fifth most populous nation in the world and occupying an area only slightly smaller than the United States of America, Brazil dominates the Latin America region. Brazil has vast resources and a large labour pool to exploit, however inequality of income distribution remains a significant problem.

Extending from tropical Central America and the Caribbean down to the Antarctic fringes the Latin American region contains a diverse geographic, economic and political mix. Latin America's considerable resources and large labour pool remain largely untapped. The resources boom of recent times has provided a boost to the region that has stimulated the region beyond just the resource sector.
